Thank you, Jake!

A few months ago, a kid at Otter Creek had a birthday. And a party. Happens all the time, I'm sure.

But this party was extraordinary. Instead of presents for himself, Jake asked for presents for other kids. With the money from his party, he bought all sorts of books, DVD's and sports equipment from the outreach center wish list.

Did his parents force him to do this? Nooooooooo... It was all his idea. Who does that?!!!! One of the coolest kids around, that's who.

Jake, you have no idea how you happy you've made these kids. They treasure the treasures you've sent. Thank you for sharing with them.

And thank you for reminding Holly and I to think of others before ourselves. Sometimes we forget that, even though we live here!
