Dog Meets Ocean

TJ's family is here visiting this week - much more on that to come, especially about TJ's fabulous sister, who's been INTERNING with us all summer.

(We still haven't done our big "Welcome, Mickey Page!" post. We'll get there. Before she leaves...)

We went away for the weekend to the windy, rocky outpost on the very tip of the island, Las Galeras. It was spectacular, and spectacularly relaxing. A good time was had by all, but the best time was had by Gus.

Firing Squad

On a hot mid-morning earlier this week, nearly all of our Pescadores were shot mercilessly, first by each other, and then by me.




They had it coming. I don't regret it at all. In fact, it was refreshing.

In case you were wondering...

it is possible to fog up the bathroom mirror even when you're taking a cold shower.

Yes, that's right, it is SO hot right now that the steam from the water hitting my skin fogs up the mirror.
